Splatter Painting!
The children used pipettes today with watered down paint to make splatter paintings. In addition to creating wonderful, unique pieces of art, children strengthened their fine motor control by discovering that pinching and releasing the bulb on the pipette forced the paint to splatter out in different ways. Some children chose to lightly cover their paper with droplets of paint while others loaded the pipettes and coated the paper.
Looks like so much fun! What a great idea. We already miss this wonderful class!
