Loose Farm Parts

We wondered what the children would do with loose farm parts - mini animals, sticks, rocks and wood cookies. 

They began to create mini Playscapes with the materials, telling stories about how their farms and fields were organized as they did. 

We see math in everything!  Look at how the children carefully sorted and organized the animals by similar characteristics! Math at play!
