Splatter Painting

Today's art was a fun, messy one! We asked the children to wear safety goggles so that any paint splattered would not get in their eyes. On our table we offered the children the three primary colours of paint (watered down a bit) and mini squeeze/spray bottles.

The children used the bottles to squeeze and spray the colours of paint onto their paper.

This was great fine motor work as the bottles can be tricky to manipulate and also require patience and practice to get the hang of.

As the colours splatter they mix and form secondary colours on the paper.
