The crocus was in full bloom and we encouraged the children to notice the details; the gentle way the petals turned, the drops of yellow in the middle of each bloom, and the stripes of white that climb up each stem.
The children carefully created what they saw using a variety of materials including pastels, markers, and paint.
It's always so interesting to see the creative process in action and the many different ways children interpret and represent what they see.
