Encouraging More Writing

We are hoping to encourage our children to engage in even more writing in our classroom. Today we set up a message board where children could write messages to one another on post-it notes and 'deliver' the message to their friend by placing the note next to their friend's name. It was incredibly popular!

We are hoping to open our post office soon and are looking for 27 small boxes (shoebox size). If you have any that you can donate we'd be happy to have them!  Thank you!
