Our Chocolate Factory

We worked on our Chocolate Factory again today.

Some children created their own chocolate menus at the writing table with Miss Rahman.

Using the chocolate playdough in the center - pretending to take orders, bake chocolate, sell the chocolate trays, and delivering them around the classroom.

The children tired of visiting Mr. Mills' office in our drama center and have voted to turn it into a chocolate factory! Of course we were happy to oblige! We spent time today with the children brainstorming what would be needed in a chocolate factory and starting the initial set-up of the center. Stay tuned for more information and pictures as this center takes shape!

The children also helped to paint a large box red, which when dried will become our classroom mailbox.  We are pretending our writing center is a post office where children can write and mail letters to one another. A postal worker will empty the mailbox and delivery the mail to our classroom mailboxes! We can't wait to see all the wonderful writing our children will do!
