Fighting Island!
Our field trip finally arrived! We couldn't ask for a more perfect day! Thank you so much to all our wonderful adult volunteers! Our day went so smoothly because of you!
Taking the boat over to Fighting Island
Finding animal tracks and making casts of them! The most popular track was deer!
Collecting pond water to look for living organisms! We explored this water further using high powered microscopes in the classroom on the island.
Looking for insects -catching them with our nets and putting them in insect jars.
Looking at organisms from the pond under the microscope.
What a great group! Thank you for an amazing day!
