Observing Gardenias
We placed a fresh cut gardenia at our science centre today and invited the children to explore it further.
We smelled the flower's beautiful scent and voted whether or not we liked the smell.
We carefully observed the way the petals had unfurled and sketched what we saw.
We also watched a time lapsed video of a gardenia bush blooming.
