Finger Painting on Foil Paper

We had a large piece of foiled cardboard donated to our program and thought it would be the perfect canvas for some complimentary colour finger painting!

The children noticed how smooth the foil was and how cool and slippery the paint felt as they smeared it together and created new colours.

It was such a fun, messy activity!

We drew lots of swirls and squiggly lines and even practised writing some familiar words!

The children wanted a way of 'saving' their finger prints so we pressed a piece of painting paper gently on top of their drawings and...

...lifted it to reveal a beautiful print!
