Puffy Snow People
The children explored a messy material today! We made puffy snow people using glue and shaving cream. Some children spent much time shaping the material into a snow person and adding detail to it, while others just explored the messy material, smoothing it over their papers and adding bits and pieces to decorate. The wonderful thing about this material is that is dries as a puff, so the snow people have texture to them when they are finished. You can create the recipe at home by mixing 2 parts shaving cream to 1 part white glue. Enjoy!

Did you use foam blocks when you built structures with blocks and shaving cream or were they hard, plastic blocks?
ReplyDeleteThey were soft foam blocks but we've also tried it with wooden blocks too.
