Our messy recipe for the month of November was Goop (2 parts cornstarch to 1 part water with a few drops of food colouring). Miss Halupka made it with the children today. Goop is interesting because when you touch it, it feels hard, but when you try and pick it up it slips through your fingers. It's an great way to get the children thinking about properties of matter and the various states of materials. Needless to say, it was a hit!
